Trailhead: The trailhead is located at 40.5109228, -109.5746354, next to the Doc's Beach Trailhead. There is a restroom and a few maps that will help you get started for the day.
Trail Overview
The trail is approximately 21 miles, but there are many many more miles of trail in the area if you decide to extend the day. The trail should take about 3-4 hours to explore, depending on your driving and whether you take some of the side trails available. There are no services so stock up on anything you need before leaving Vernal.
- Restrooms: At the trailhead.
- You may encounter gates. Leave them as is.
- Allowed: ATVs, UTVs & Dirtbikes, and full-sized jeep/4x4s.
- Signage: Most trails have adequate signage, but a GPS is highly recommended.

FREE OHV COURSE
Utah requires all OHV operators to complete the free Utah Off-Highway Vehicle Education Course. Operators under the age of 18 shall possess a youth OHV education certificate in order to operate an OHV on public land, road or trail. Operators 18 years of age or older may operate an OHV if they possess an approved adult OHV education certificate. The once-in-a-lifetime course is expected to take less than 30 minutes to complete.
