Mesa Arch
Mesa Arch is a famous structure in the Island in the Sky District of Canyonlands National Park. Impressive photos show rugged canyon country in the distance framed by a close-up view of the photogenic arch. Some of the best photos are taken at sunrise.

The trailhead is at a wide parking area located along Grand View Point Road. The short trail is well marked and easy to follow. It takes you to the edge of the plateau, where you have an expansive view of the countryside.
The arch is located right on the rim of the plateau. After taking in the view, and taking photos, continue the easy loop trail to return to your car, or backtrack and return the way you came in.
