Quail Creek State Park
The reservoir at this St George-area state park boasts some of the warmest waters in the state, plus a mild winter climate. Water sports are popular here during the long warm weather season, and boaters and fishermen enjoy the reservoir year-round. Anglers fish for largemouth bass, rainbow trout, crappie and other species.

Quail Creek is a scenic park in the St George area. It is a great place to boat, camp and fish. Because the weather is mild here, the park is popular year-round.
Location
Located just south of I-15, about 13 miles NE of St George. About 293 miles south of Salt Lake City.
From I-15, take the Hurricane exit (Exit 16). Travel east on Hwy 9, drive for about three miles toward Hurricane City to the second light, turn left . The entrance is on the right side of the road. Look for the flag pole.

This Park offers modern facilities for excellent camping year-round. Back-in and pull-through sites are available for both tent camping and for RVs up to 35 feet. Full hook-up or showers are not available in this campground.
The park does not have a group campsite.
