ATV/OHV Trails near Zion National Park
Vehicles are restricted to established roads within Zion Park, and most of the roads are paved. However, there are great 4X4 routes in the forests and deserts outside park boundaries.
ATVs are not allowed within Zion National Park. However, there are excellent trails on both private and public land close to the park.
Very scenic riding areas can be found on sand dunes at two nearby Utah state parks: Sand Hollow and Coral Pink Sand Dunes. The soft sand, with Zion's colorful cliffs in the background, makes these areas popular.
