Ogden Valley
Nestled in the mountains above Ogden lies a beautiful valley with two rural communities, Huntsville and Eden, divided by the Ogden River. A third town, Liberty, is situated in the northwestern corner of Ogden Valley.
Though Huntsville is probably best known as the home to the world-class ski resort Snowbasin, this isn’t a touristy resort town with high-rise hotels and crowds of people. It’s quaint and quiet, but far from sleepy. There is plenty to see and do after the snow melts — from a wildflower photo safari in July to a hot air balloon festival in August and a salmon run in September. Not to mention plenty of hiking, biking, golfing, boating and paddling.
